Halogen free | To VDE 0472 part 813 and IEC 754-1 |
These Halogen Free control cables are suitable for electrical installations in dry and damp interiors and outdoors if UV protection and temperature ranges are observed. It is suitable as a measurement, sensing and control cable in the machine tool manufacturing, engineering, power stations, heating and air conditioning installations, refrigeration and date processing installations.
The halogen free control cables are oil resistant (SEV TP 20B), widely resistant against chemicals, rough but extremely flexible. The materials are flame retardant and self extinguishing according to IEC 60 332.1, IEC 60 332.2, IEC 60 332.3.
The number coded cable has been created for public events for example concerts, light and sound events, external performances etc for the protection of the sound and light equipment.
Suitable where PVC insulated cables become brittle due to high temperature variations. Silicone insulated single cores are preferably used in the metallurgical industry, steel works, hot rolling mills, coking plants, foundries etc. Insulation consists of silicone rubber. It is resistant to vegetable and animal fat, many types of oil and diluted acids. No decomposition occurs when exposed to alcohol, alkaline solutions, etc. The insulation is resistant to oxygen and ozone. Should the cable burn, an insulation silicone dioxide layer will remain on the conductor to render it short circuit proof. Additional mechanical protection due to the glass fibre braid.
Temperature range flexing : - 60oC to + 180oC
Temporarily : to +200oC.
Thermocouple Cables :
Thermocouple cables are used to transmit signals from the thermocouple to the control unit using conductor materials which have the same e.m.f. output as that of thermocouple unit.
In Thermocouple Extension cables the conduct or metal/alloys are the same as that of the thermocouple leads.
Thermocouple Compensating cables, which are a cheaper alternative to Thermocouple Extension cables are available at competitive prices. These cables incorporate different alloys whichgive the same e.m. fooutput (within a limited temperature range) as those in the thermocouple.

Relemac twisted paired cables are best suited for telephone and switchboard cabling applications. The conductor is make of solid annealed, high conductivity bare copper. The conductor is insulated with special grade high-density polyethylene different colours. The insulated cores are twisted with uniform lay to form pairs and are bunched together in such a manner so as to minimise cross talk. In 50 and 100 Pair cables the units of 10 and 20 pairs respectively are identified with colour binders and stranded to form the laid up cable. The laid up cable is taped with polyester tape and further jacketed with a grey / black colour PVC with high oxygen and temperature index. The cables can be used for switchboard and internal telephone wiring in high-rise buildings, offices, factories, hotels, residential complexes etc. They generally conform to ITD specifications G/WIR-06/02 May 94.
Stringent quality control in every stage from raw material to manufacturing upto finished product, guarantees high quality.
Salient Features: Low Attenuation, Low Crosstalk
Application: This cable is intended as a transmission medium for carrying 2 Mb/s digital signal.
Solid/Stranded (ATC/ABC) Copper conductor, insulated with specially formulated PVC/TPE/XLPE to form a core. Cores laid up together or twisted to form a pair/triad depending upon the individual requirement. Such cores/pairs/triads after laying are coated with special Fire Resistant materials and overall sheathed with special PVC/TPE/LSZH.
· Shielding with Braiding/Aluminium mylar taping will be done overall or individually depending upon the requirement.

Sheath colour change:
Sheath colours can be changed by oversheathing or dyeing. This is possible to PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) sheaths only. This is ideal for specific identification purposes or to match existing colour schemes.
Over-sheathing:
Many standard indoor cables can be oversheathed with materials such as PE (Polyethylene) and PUR (Polyurethane) to allow the cable to be used outdoors, in ducts and in certain harsh industrial environments.
Re-sheathing:
Should additional sheathing be required on armoured cables or braided cables, we can remove the existing sheath prior to re-sheathing to allow the cable diameter to be maintained.
Braiding, armouring and electrical screening:
Mechanical protection to existing cables can be provided by adding either Flexible GSWB (Galvanised Steel Wire Braid) or more SWA (Steel Wire Armour). Both options can be oversheathed in PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), PE (Polyethylene) or LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) dependant on the installation.
Protection from electrical interference can be provided by the addition of a metallic screen. This is typically TCWB (Tinned Copper Wire Braid) or AL-PET (Aluminium / Polyester Foil) with further options available. Again this can then be over-sheathed as required dependant on the installation.
Composite cables:
Existing cables can be laid up and used to form a single cable. This can include cables of different conductor sizes or a combination of data, control cables and power cables. Having been laid up together we can provide various screening and oversheathing options to meet your particular application.
